so.. Singapore Open has finally come to an end.
which is definitely both a happy and sad thing.

of course there's relief that it's the end of another big meet,
a time for everyone to unwind and take a break (albeit only for awhile) before training picks up again,
and there's no longer this constant nagging worry at the back of your mind which usually exists just before a major comp,
and regardless of how well or badly you have done, you can finally put the past behind you.

but then,
the monotony of life comes creeping back in again, after all the excitement and adrenaline of the meet has died down,
and it'll be ages before all the swimmers can gather again,
and most of all, for me at least,

it's time for the CTs!
ahh!
it certainly looks much MUCH closer from this side of Singapore Open.
oh well.
guess it's full steam ahead!

and i can't believe while everyone's enjoying a nice week-long break from training, i'll be spending it taking CTs! ):<

an 18 yr old amongst all those big shot professors and doctorate people!
mind boggling. o.o
